FNCB Bank donates to Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA

<p>The Department of Medical Imaging at Misericordia University recently sponsored a Student Research Poster Presentation Day in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall. The presentations were the culmination of research and work on a variety of topics by juniors and seniors in medical imaging. The students presented 26 abstracts to the college community and answered questions related to their individual topics. Numerous students, faculty and staff attended the event.</p><p>Senior Breana Mosier, of Wilkes-Barre,<em></em> presented her research, &#8220;The Role of Computed Tomography in Diagnosing Coronary Artery Disease,&#8221; a study of the use of computed tomography scans in diagnosing and treatment of a wide range of coronary artery diseases, including arrhythmia and heart failure. Gina Capitano, assistant professor of medical imaging, served as advisor on the project along with Aaron Phillips, clinical instructor at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.</p><style>
