Plymouth man charged with kidnapping, assaulting woman

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A 60-year-old Hanover Township man pleaded guilty Friday to a charge stemming from allegations he molested a girl for years at the Edwardsville Flea Market.</p><p>His sentence was also immediately imposed, avoiding prison time thanks to his time already served.</p><p>Howard Wolfe ran the flea market, and WNEP reported in May he was arrested for allegedly molesting a girl when she was between the ages of 12 and 15.</p><p>Wolfe was initially charged with a felony count of indecent assault of a person less than 13, along with four related misdemeanors.</p><p>However, Wolfe pleaded guilty Friday to only a single misdemeanor count of indecent assault without the consent of another, with the remainder of his charges withdrawn by prosecutors.</p><p>Wolfe was immediately sentenced by Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough to three to 23 months in prison. He was given credit for 266 days of time served.</p><p>Vough granted Wolfe an immediate parole, as Wolfe had already reached the minimum sentence. He was ordered to report to probation officers immediately upon his release.</p><p>Court records show this wasn&#8217;t Wolfe&#8217;s only run-in with the law.</p><p>He was arrested in 1996 and was charged with indecent assault of a person less than 16 and corruption of minors, to which he also pleaded guilty in 1997.</p><p>He was sentenced to a total of two years on probation for those counts.</p><p>According to WNEP, Wolfe built a reputation for acting inappropriately in Edwardsville.</p><style>
