LPN to RN students at LCCC honored at pinning ceremony

<p>The Ethnic Committee of the Dr. Edwards Memorial Congregational Church, Church and Main streets, Edwardsville, will hold their annual St. David&#8217;s Day Tea at 7 p.m. March 6 in the Sunday School Room, using the entrance from Main Street. Toastmaster will be John DiRico. The evening will consist of Welsh Hymn Singing directed by Carol Wolosz, gift presentations to the oldest woman and man present, a program by &#8220;Changing Habits&#8221; and, of course, Welsh Cookies, homemade breads, cheese, tea and coffee under the direction of Betty Jones and Eleanor Vojtko. &#8220;Changing Habits&#8221; is an outreach ministry from the Church of the Gate of Heaven in Dallas. They &#8220;change&#8221; their &#8220;hats&#8221; several times during their program singing show tunes, old tunes, fun tunes and patriotic tunes, etc. Tickets may be obtained from any of the Ethnic Committee members or by calling Jean Bonn at 570-678-3976. Members of &#8220;Changing Habits&#8221; include Debbie Pike, Joanie Keating, Lisa DeGraba, Fran Rismondo, Kippie Morgan, Pat Makara, Marilyn O&#8217;Connell, Bonnie Lennker, Florence Leahey, Geri Botyrius, Marcus Matthews, Mary Beth Banks, Joan Gilbertson, Barbara Edwards, Betty Ann Parri, Gina Makaravage, Agnes Unice and Ruth O&#8217;Dell. </p><style>
