Around Town: A celebration of bacon and a new place to grab a pint

<p>Pamela (Miller) Doncsecz, formerly of Hazleton, and William Doncsecz, of Allentown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexa Noelle, to Patrick Joseph Smith, son of Grace Marie and Patrick Smith, of McAdoo. The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from The Catholic University of America. She is currently employed as the assistant director of the Office of Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry for the Diocese of Allentown.</p><p>The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and secondary education from Misericordia University. He is currently employed as a History and Theology Teacher at Marian Catholic High School, Hometown.</p><p>Alexa is the granddaughter of Arthur and Geraldine Miller, of Conyngham, and the late William and Gladys Doncsecz, of Allentown. Patrick is the grandson of Lawrence and Rose Marie Patton, of McAdoo, and the late Joseph and Virginia Smith, of Forty Fort.</p><p>The wedding will take place on June 23, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena in Allentown.</p><style>
