<p>While President Trump was delivering his State of the Union address, I could not help noticing the sour demeanor Nancy Pelosi was displaying. I thought that perhaps she had accidentally swallowed a horsefly.</p><p>This is the same negative Nancy who referred to Trump&#8217;s tax cuts as Armageddon and used the standard Democratic nonsense that the cuts only helped the rich and the working class received crumbs.</p><p>Methinks the lady doth protest too much.</p><p>In addition to many companies handing out bonuses to their employees, millions of workers are getting to keep more money in their pocket.</p><p>In the four score and seven years in which I have resided on this planet, I have never witnessed the hatred directed at our chief executive as that which the Democratic Party and their allies in the media are directing at President Trump.</p><p>Despite the efforts to have Trump driven out of office with bogus claims he colluded with Russia to win the election, I believe he is doing a fine job and the economy under his direction has rebounded with more jobs opening and more industries remaining in the USA.</p><p>While many pundits had predicted the election of Trump would have dire consequences, he is proving them wrong and calls to mind the words of the noted Greek philosopher Sophocles: &#8220;One must wait until the evening to see what a splendid day it has been.&#8221;</p><p style="text-align: right;">Ralph Rostock</p><p style="text-align: right;">Carverton</p><style>
