<p>WEST PITTSTON &#8212; A man from Avoca was arraigned Thursday for terrorizing a woman on a social media site, warning he had her in the scope of his rifle, authorities say.</p><p>West Pittston police allege Stephen J. Romanecz, 30, of Grove Street, sent the threat in a private message on Facebook a day after 17 people, mostly students, were slain in a shooting at a Florida high school.</p><p>According to a criminal complaint:</p><p>A woman from West Pittston told police Romanecz tagged her name to a post he created Feb. 15 on Facebook. </p><p>The woman sent Romanecz a private message asking him to remove her name from the post.</p><p>When Romanecz replied, he said he had her in the scope of his rifle and claimed he had two automatic assault rifles next to him. He also described the type of clothing the woman was wearing and stated he had her house surrounded while threatening to kill someone.</p><p>The woman told police she felt threatened by Romanecz&#8217;s threat. </p><p>Romanecz was charged with terroristic threats and harassment. He was arraigned in Luzerne County Central Court and jailed at the county correctional facility for lack of $20,000 bail. </p><style>
