<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The Times Leader Media Group is reviving a Northeastern Pennsylvania staple &#8212; again &#8212; to give its readers a chance to walk away with some cold, hard cash.</p><p>The newspaper, along with The Hearing Center, will host Blackout Bingo with three cash prizes of $500 for the second consecutive year.</p><p>For decades, Northeastern Pennsylvania was a hotbed of bingo action with just about every church, volunteer fire department and other charities hosting games. In recent years, however, many of these organizations have stopped that practice.</p><p>But area bingo players will be able to play the game daily thanks to the Times Leader.</p><p>As the name suggests, Blackout Bingo is a game of coverall. In other words, a player wins when all the numbers on his or her card have been called.</p><p>One bingo card will be in each edition of Sunday&#8217;s Times Leader.</p><p>Starting Monday, one number will be published in each edition of the paper. Players will need to cut out the numbers that match numbers on their cards and tape them to their cards.</p><p>The first three players to bring a completed card to the Times Leader office at 90 E. Market St. &#8212; now officially known as Blackout Bingo Headquarters &#8212; will be declared winners and pocket $500. Bingo inspectors will be on hand to confirm winning cards.</p><p>In the case of more than three people with completed cards arriving at Blackout Bingo Headquarters at the same time, winners will be selected through a random drawing.</p><p>A complete list of rules will be published every Sunday in the Times Leader until three winners are declared.</p><style>
