Around Town: Readers’ Choice Awards and local Easter egg hunts

<p>Seven local residents were recently inducted to King&#8217;s College&#8217;s Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda, a national honor society which celebrates the scholarship and leadership of non-traditional students in higher education. The aim of ASL is to provide recognition to highly motivated adult students who have demonstrated academic excellence while facing competing interests of family, community, and work. The national organization was founded in 1946. The King&#8217;s Chapter was established in 1974.
