<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Court papers identified the woman arrested during a melee outside the Ali Baba nightclub early Saturday morning when a city police officer sustained a facial injury.</p><p>City police allege Somali Salaam, age and address unknown, kicked and stomped on an officer&#8217;s leg and foot, and used her long fingernails in an attempt to scratch the officer&#8217;s arm.</p><p>Police said Salaam, who was initially listed as &#8220;Jane Doe&#8221; for refusing to provide identification, urinated as she was detained and inside a prisoner transport van, arrest papers say.</p><p>Salaam was allegedly part of a large group who were thrown out of the nightclub on South Main Street just after 3 a.m. It was reported a fight broke out inside the club.</p><p>Police said as patrons emerged outside, they refused orders to disperse and continued to be disorderly and confrontational. Arguments and fights erupted as additional officers reported to the scene.</p><p>Police arrested Dwayne Lamont Wright, 24, of High Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre, and Kareem Powell, 25, of Rahway, New Jersey, during the ruckus.</p><p>According to the criminal complaints:</p><p>Wright allegedly interfered with an officer who was detaining a person during the melee. Wright shoved an officer and fell to the ground during a struggle. While on the ground, Wright swung his arms and in doing so, his elbow struck an officer&#8217;s eye that bled and swelled.</p><p>Powell was arrested when he allegedly refused to leave and ran across South Main Street in an attempt to fight another patron.</p><p>Salaam, Wright and Powell were arraigned by District Judge Thomas Malloy in Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Salaam was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, failure to disperse upon official order and public drunkenness. She was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $15,000 bail.</p><p>Wright was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, failure to disperse upon official order and public drunkenness. He was jailed for lack of $35,000 bail.</p><p>Powell was charged with failure to disperse upon official order, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was jailed for lack of $20,000 bail.</p><style>
