<p>Blackbird Presents, Mark Rothbaum and Live Nation announced today that the Outlaw Music Festival will return to Scranton this year with the second leg of its summer tour.</p><p>Headliner Willie Nelson welcomes Van Morrison and Tedeschi Trucks Band to join the already stacked lineup that includes Sturgill Simpson, Greensky Bluegrass, Lukas Nelson &amp; Promise of the Real, Particle Kid and more.</p><p>The tour will visit The Pavilion at Montage Mountain, 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton, on Sept. 14.</p><p>The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival took place in 2016 in Scranton and featured performances by Neil Young + Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Lee Ann Womack and Cabinet in addition to headliner Nelson. According to a press release from Live Nation, &#8220;the sold-out show was so well received that Blackbird and Nelson decided to take their band of outlaws on the road as a touring festival in 2017.&#8221;</p><p>Tickets for the general public go on sale at noon Friday through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 800-745-3000. VIP packages include &#8220;great seats&#8221; and exclusive festival merchandise. Citi is the official pre-sale credit card of the festival, and Citi card members will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. today and ending at 10 p.m. Thursday through Citi&#8217;s Private Pass program.
