Man turns himself in, charged in Hanover hit-run

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A city man was arrested after he allegedly solicited sex on social media from someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.</p><p>Ryan Edward Brislin, 35, of Willow Street, was busted by agents with the state Office of Attorney General when he showed up Friday night in an area where he believed he was meeting the fictitious teen girl.</p><p>After Brislin was arrested, he allegedly told agents he met two women for sexual encounters using the same social media app.</p><p>According to the criminal complaint:</p><p>An agent assumed the identity of a 14-year-old girl and began communicating online with a man who stated he was 30-year-old.</p><p>After multiple times Brislin was informed that he was conversing with a 14-year-old girl, he solicited the child for sexual contact stating, &#8220;I can teach you everything you need to know, want me to teach you, (expletive), I could get you the morning after pill, that way you can feel (expletive).&#8221;</p><p>Brislin allegedly requested the child&#8217;s location and sent a message he was driving a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee.</p><p>Agents spotted the Jeep in the area where Brislin was told the fictitious child resided at about 11:50 p.m. Friday. He was arrested a few minutes later when he stopped the Jeep.</p><p>Brislin allegedly told agents he believed he was meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex, and knew it was illegal to have sex with a minor. He also admitted the online conversations were sexual in nature and offered to bring the girl the morning after pill, the complaint says.</p><p>Agents alleged Brislin used a cell phone to communicate with the fictitious girl.</p><p>Brislin was arraigned by District Judge James Haggerty in Kingston on two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault and criminal use of communication facility. He was released on $35,000 unsecured bail.</p><style>
