<p>DURYEA &#8212; A Duryea officer was left with minor injuries after a vehicle chase that started in the borough and ended in Lackawanna County.</p><p>Police are still looking for the man they say led them on the chase.</p><p>A Duryea police officer attempted to pull over a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee for a registration violation just before midnight on Saturday. The initial stop occurred in the area of Phoenix Street.</p><p>According to a release from the Pennsylvania State Police in Dunmore, the suspect fled, leading the officer on a pursuit for over four miles.</p><p>The driver of the vehicle allegedly rammed his vehicle into the marked Duryea police vehicle four separate times while the officer was attempting to stop the suspect.</p><p>The suspect allegedly continued to flee, driving through an unsecured entrance to Rocky Glen Park in Moosic.</p><p>The Duryea officer pursued the suspect on foot for over a mile, being unable to drive into the park. Moosic officers and the Duryea officer also reported seeing the suspect.</p><p>The Duryea officer gave the suspect commands to stop. The suspect allegedly ignored those commands, fleeing into the wooded area and avoiding being apprehended.</p><p>However, state police say they have identified the suspect through investigation. While his name has not yet been released, as the release says further investigative steps are being taken, he is identified in the release as a 35-year-old white male from Scranton.</p><p>The officer, who was also not identified in the report, is said to have sustained minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported.</p><p>State police say charges are anticipated in the near future, including counts of aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to flee a police officer, criminal mischief and various traffic violations.</p><style>
