<p>Angels Among Us, a division of the Red Hat Society was recently invited to attend the Salvation Army Tea held at the Citadel in Scranton. The Tea Party was coordinated by Major Kathy Wadman and assisted by Major Karen Schmig, Major Bob Schmig, Major Bea Connell, Wendy Cooper, Conna Cole, Mary Jo Higgins and many women from the Citadel. A prayer was read in memory of Jack and Jennie Smacker&#8217;s son, Gary Smacker, and Alma Berlot&#8217;s grandson, Samuel Trombetta. For the month of May, Angels Among Us, facilitated by Joan Prestash, donated hand bags to Engle Eye Wear to be filled with women&#8217;s accessories for the homeless for Mother&#8217;s Day.
