<p>DURYEA &#8212; Two men, both 18, are in custody following a shooting on Stephenson Street early Saturday.</p><p>Borough police did not release the men&#8217;s names, but court documents identify the individuals as Nathan Hazelton, of Scranton, and Christopher Stevens, of Old Forge.</p><p>Officers responded to a fight at a residence at about 12:09 a.m. when witnesses told officers a man suffered a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported a 31-year-old man from Plains Township to a local hospital.</p><p>Duryea Police said he was in stable condition, but did not release the victim&#8217;s name.</p><p>Police from Pittston, Avoca, Hughestown and state police searched the area as those at the residence fled the scene.</p><p>During the investigation, police arrested Stevens on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, public drunkenness and underage drinking. The suspected gunman remained at large, however.</p><p>Stevens was arraigned Saturday morning by District Judge Brian Tupper in Kingston Township and jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $15,000 bail.</p><p>Hazelton turned himself in to Scranton police later Saturday, and was brought back to Luzerne County for arraignment.</p><p>He was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, simple assault and firearms not to be carried without a license.</p><p>Hazelton also was arraigned by Tupper and committed to the county lockup on $500,000 bail to await further proceedings.</p><style>

Duryea shooting: One hospitalized, two arrested
