Appeals court rules for WB police union in pension dispute

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police arrested four people after they were allegedly found inside a vacant house condemned by the Code Enforcement Office.</p><p>Police charged the following with criminal trespass and defiant trespass: Yusuf Wright, 39, of Beech Street, Wilkes-Barre; Andrew Casterlin, 30, of Burke Street, Wilkes-Barre; Nicole Novak, 23, Scranton; and Bernard Wengzen, 48, of Charles Street, Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Police allege Wright climbed out a window at 145 S. Sherman St., where Casterlin, Novak and Wengzen were found inside at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.</p><p>Officers said code enforcement had posted &#8220;No Trespassing&#8221; signs at the residence Friday.</p><p>Wright and Novak were released on $5,000 unsecured bail. Casterlin and Wengzen were jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.</p><style>
