<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; An autopsy was performed Thursday on a man who died Tuesday, five years after he was shot multiple times during a home invasion in Harveys Lake.</p><p>Paul Brace Jr., 24, died at his family&#8217;s residence in Dallas.</p><p>Brace, a receiver for the Misericordia University football team and a 2012 graduate of Dallas High School where he was a stand-out on the gridiron and basketball court, was asleep when he was shot inside 367 Second St., Harveys Lake, on June 5, 2013.</p><p>Brace underwent multiple surgeries after the shooting.</p><p>State police and Luzerne County detectives investigated the shooting. No charges have been filed but several people were targeted by investigators.</p><p>Coroner William Lisman said an autopsy was performed by forensic pathologist Dr. Gary Ross at the coroner&#8217;s office in Hanover Township.</p><p>Lisman said results of the autopsy are not being released pending the return of toxicology samples.</p><p>District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis could not be immediately reached for comment Thursday morning.</p><p>The Times Leader reported after the shooting that a search warrant indicated Brace&#8217;s roommate, Adam Weaver, a student at Penn State Wilkes-Barre at the time, told investigators he was pistol whipped by four armed men who forced their way inside the house on Second Street.</p><p>The four intruders went to the second floor and one of them fired multiple rounds at Brace, who suffered gunshot wounds to his head, chest and arm, the report says.</p><p>Weaver was not shot and stated he gave the four armed men $500 before they left. Weaver told state police he ran to the house of Mitch Artsma where he called 911.</p><style>
