Redevelopment Authority votes to distribute money from disputed TIF

<p>LAS VEGAS &#8211; A Forty Fort man finished second in the 2018 NHL World Gaming Championships on Tuesday night.</p><p>David Roebuck won $15,000 by competing in a world-wide video game tournament, playing EASPORTS NHL 18.</p><p>After qualifying for the United States regional round Easter Sunday and finishing as one of the top two Americans on May 20, the 21-year-old was one of six players who played one-day world championship tournament.</p><p>He advanced out of the round-robin portion of to the best-of-three championship round, but fell to Erik Tammenpaa in two games. Tammenpaa won $50,000.</p><p>Roebuck attends Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, where he plays club hockey.</p><p>&#8220;A lot of my success in real-life hockey revolves around my work ethic and just my smarts for the game, like knowing what to do at what time or how to out-smart someone,&#8221; Roebuck said back in May. &#8220;I&#8217;m consistently thinking &#8230; as a player and as a coach. I feel that helps out a lot, especially when I see what players do in the game and I think back to real-life hockey, &#8216;OK, how would you beat this? What works? What doesn&#8217;t work?&#8217;&#8221;</p><style>
