Man accused of threatening message to lawyer is arraigned, jailed

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The inaugural Strawberry Festival on Public Square &#8212; &#8220;Summer in the City&#8221; &#8212; begins Thursday, on the first day of summer, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.</p><p>The festival will be a strawberry-themed Farmers Market, with every vendor offering something strawberry.</p><p>Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins&#8217; mascot Tux will visit, and D&amp;N Furniture will sponsor a live performance of Strawberry Jam from noon to 1:30 p.m.</p><p>Additionally, the Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) will have a live cooking demonstration during the festival.</p><style>
