Hundreds arrested in DC protesting Trump immigration policy

<p>PLAINS TWP. &#8212; The ultra sleek and modern showroom of Porsche Wyoming Valley was transformed with cocktails, hors d&#8217;oeuvres and more Thursday as roughly 200 people filled the space for the grand opening of the dealership&#8217;s latest facility.</p><p>While Wyoming Valley Motors opened the doors to its Porsche site on Route 315 in the fall, general manager Steve Ubaldini was happy to finally show off the luxurious dealership to the public.</p><p>&#8220;Although we moved in the fall, it takes some time to get your processes in line and now we feel like it&#8217;s the right time to say to the area that we&#8217;re open,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There&#8217;s no facility like this in the area &#8212; it is one of the most state-of-the-art, gorgeous facilities.&#8221;</p><p>Porsche Wyoming Valley is more than a dealership and service center. It also features the Porsche Driver Selection, offering merchandise such as hats, shirts, specialty parts, accessories and more.</p><p>Before cutting a white satin ribbon with the brand&#8217;s logo in black ink, Jacob Harb gushed about the scenic views of the Wyoming Valley.</p><p>Hailing from Manhattan, the vice president for Porsche Cars North America lauded the area and its residents while calling the new dealership a &#8220;perfect representation of the brand&#8221; before raising his glass for a toast.</p><p>As magician Denny Corby began entertaining the audience with a slew of tricks, Walt Weir, of the Pocono chapter of the Porsche Club of America, said he was glad the event was so well-attended.</p><p>&#8220;There are a lot of (Porsche) owners that are owners, but aren&#8217;t involved in the club. We&#8217;re trying to get exposure for the club,&#8221; said Weir. &#8220;Now that (Porsche has) a brand new facility with everything up to date as far as modern facilities, it means a lot.&#8221;</p><p>Former chapter club president Mark Frumkin agreed.</p><p>The luxury car enthusiast and Hazleton resident credited Wyoming Valley Motors for the care put into its vehicles and customers &#8212; adding the Porsche showroom is no exception.</p><p>&#8220;It means a lot to have a building that&#8217;s appropriate for the vehicles it houses,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It certainly is a credit to the Wilkes-Barre area and the Wyoming Valley.&#8221;</p><style>
