<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; A Scranton man allegedly stole $1,017 in merchandise from the Kohl&#8217;s store on Wednesday afternoon.</p><p>Jose Melecio, 28, is accused of taking jewelry, three wallets and several perfumes. Police say he fled in a silver Honda, but he was stopped on nearby Highland Park Boulevard and taken into custody.</p><p>Melecio is now facing a felony count of retail theft.</p><p>He was arraigned and then jailed for lack of $10,000 bail.</p><style>
