<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police arrested a woman from Hunlock Township on charges she stabbed another woman on Carlisle Street on Tuesday.</p><p>Janis Kruszka, 52, of Range Road, was arrested after Michelle Hules told police she was stabbed during an argument that spilled outside.</p><p>According to a criminal complaint:</p><p>Police responded to Carlisle Street just after 6:30 p.m. and encountered Kruszka screaming at Hules outside a residence.</p><p>Hules told police Kruszka is her roommate and they were arguing inside 130 Carlisle St.</p><p>During the argument, Hules claimed Kruszka became violent, ripped her tank top off, and grabbed a kitchen knife. Hules fled the apartment and was chased by Kruszka, who allegedly stabbed Hules.</p><p>The victim suffered injuries to her lower back and right forearm but refused to be transported to a hospital.</p><p>A witness told police Kruszka charged at Hules on the street.</p><p>Police later recovered a knife under a vehicle parked on Carlisle Street.</p><p>Kruszka was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Malloy in Wilkes-Barre on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment. She was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.</p><style>
