Pittston woman pleads guilty, fined for abandoning dogs

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A city man was arrested on charges he robbed a Turkey Hill store with a large hunting knife early Friday.</p><p>City police said Theodore Sepkoski, 25, of Dillon Street, was captured by a Plains Township officer after a foot chase that ended on Mayock Street at about 4:30 a.m.</p><p>According to a criminal complaint:</p><p>A store clerk told police a man wearing a black hat and a light colored hooded sweatshirt entered the store and approached the counter while holding a large hunting knife. The man, later identified as Sepkoski, tapped the knife on the counter saying, &#8220;Give me the money, sir.&#8221;</p><p>After getting cash, Sepkoski said, &#8220;Thank you,&#8221; and left.</p><p>Police set up a perimeter in the area and spotted Sepkoski on railroad tracks in the area of Brogan Street.</p><p>Sepkoski ran and was captured after being stunned by a Taser.</p><p>Cash, a black hat, gloves and a hunting knife were found on Sepkoski.</p><p>He was arraigned by District Judge Richard Cronauer in Wilkes-Barre on a single count of robbery. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000 bail.</p><style>
