<p>The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders dropped their second straight game in Allentown, with Sunday marking a 5-3 loss one day after the Lehigh Valley IronPigs secured the International League North Division title.</p><p>RailRiders spot starter Raynel Espinal stuck out six of the first seven batters he faced. By the end of the third inning, the right-hander had registered eight strikeouts.</p><p>Overall, RailRiders pitching struck out 15 batters with Stephen Tarpley retiring three in two innings, Chance Adams picking up a pair in two innings and Brady Lail adding two more in the eighth inning.</p><p>Scranton/Wilkes-Barre plated the game&#8217;s first run in the top of the third when Tyler Wade singled in Devyn Bolasky, but it wouldn&#8217;t take long for the IronPigs to respond.</p><p>Lehigh Valley scored three runs on three hits and a walk in the bottom of the fourth inning.</p><p>Aaron Altherr doubled in Joey Meneses to tie the game before scoring on a double by Danny Ortiz. Zach Green&#8217;s RBI single capped off the three-run frame.</p><p>Matt McBride hit a solo home run off Adams in the home half of the seventh to make it a 4-1 game.</p><p>The RailRiders were able to bring the deficit back to one run after a Gio Urshela two-run homer, but Dylan Cozens put Scranton/Wilkes-Barre away for good with a eighth-inning solo shot.</p><p>Sunday was Adams&#8217; first appearance as a reliever with the RailRiders. He gave up a run on two hits and a walk.</p><p>The RailRiders and IronPigs conclude their series Monday night with a 7:05 p.m. scheduled first pitch.</p><p>New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is expected to join the RailRiders for Monday&#8217;s finale. He is rehabbing a groin injury.</p><p>&#8220;He&#8217;ll be ready physically with all that we&#8217;ve put him through to prepare for this,&#8221; Yankees manager Aaron Boone said told reporters on Sunday. &#8220;We&#8217;re giving him a good amount of rehab games to make sure he&#8217;s right and hits the ground running. I think his conditioning right now is as good as it&#8217;s been all year so I feel like physically he&#8217;s in a really good place.&#8221;</p><style>
