Another big bill for WB Area consolidated school: Traffic improvements

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Kingston man accused of emailing a semi-nude picture of a Wilkes-Barre Area teacher to school district administrators and harassing her family was sentenced in Luzerne County Court on Thursday.</p><p>Jason Patrick Osolnick, 37, was accused of creating several email accounts under the alias &#8220;Jen Smith,&#8221; and emailing a picture of a woman exposing her breasts to six school administrators in February. The email to administrators stated how disgusting it was for a teacher to be engaged in such acts.</p><p>Judge Joseph Sklarosky Jr. sentenced Osolnick to the county&#8217;s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program for one-year, a pre-trial diversion program for first-time, non-violent offenders.</p><p>Olsolnick had been charged earlier this year with two misdemeanor counts of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, along with a misdemeanor count of harassment.</p><p>Brian Lavan, director of police services for the district, contacted Luzerne County detectives, who interviewed the teacher.</p><p>She told investigators she began receiving harassing emails and text messages that called her disparaging names in November 2017. She claimed several members of her husband&#8217;s family received harassing text messages, including an unsigned Christmas card that contained the semi-nude picture.</p><p>Detectives reported the teacher initially claimed she sent the photo only to her husband and suggested her husband&#8217;s phone must had been hacked. She later confessed to having an &#8220;intimate relationship&#8221; with Osolnick whom she met at a gym, court records say.</p><p>She told detectives she began ignoring Osolnick that made him angry and upset. Osolnick would show up at the gym at the same time she arrived, and would follow and watch her work out.</p><p>Detectives served search warrants regarding the emails that were traced to Osolnick.</p><p>Osolnick admitted to detectives he sent the semi-nude picture and harassed the woman because he &#8220;wanted to stop her fooling around with other people,&#8221; court records say.</p><p>Osolnick further admitted to harassing the woman&#8217;s family.</p><p>The judge also ordered Osolnick to comply with drug and alcohol evaluations, perform 30 hours of community service, and have no contact with the woman.</p><style>
