Patron allegedly tookcasino cash voucherPLAINS TWP. &#8212; A Hazle Township man was charged after he allegedly swiped a cash voucher from a slot machine at the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino on Saturday.State police said victim Casey Allen Seesholtz was playing a slot machine and printed out a cash voucher he placed on the machine. Seesholtz continued to play the machine when a man grabbed the voucher and ran out of the casino, according to court records.Seesholtz chased after the man later identified as Damian Jason Denotsko, 23, of Lattimer Road, who returned the voucher, court records say.State police said casino security recorded Denotsko stealing cash vouchers from at least four other patrons. Two people whose vouchers were stolen refused to pursue charges, troopers noted.Man accused ofburglary in WBWILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police arrested Todd Junevitz, 40, of Bellefonte, on charges he burglarized an apartment building on South Franklin Street on Sunday.According to a criminal complaint:Police responded to the building in the 400 block of South Franklin Street for a disorderly man just before 10:30 p.m. Officers were unable to enter the building but encountered Junevitz when he opened a door.Junevitz claimed he was under the influence of narcotics and was attempting to enter a woman&#8217;s apartment because he knew the woman permitted homeless people inside.Junevitz said the woman and four men robbed him of $30 and Suboxone. After the alleged robbery, Junevitz ran across the street to hide.Police say Junevitz damaged a wall inside the apartment building. His bag containing two bottles of Suboxone was found in the laundry room.Junevitz was arraigned Monday by District Judge James Haggerty in Luzerne County Central Court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was jailed at the county correctional facility for lack of $5,000 bail.Police: Woman possessedfentanyl in public restroomHAZLETON &#8212; A woman from White Haven was arraigned Tuesday on charges she possessed fentanyl inside a restroom at the Intermodal Bus Station in December.City police allege security at the bus station filed a complaint that a woman was inside the restroom for nearly two hours Dec. 20. When an officer entered the restroom, a woman standing by a sink attempted to exit.The officer stopped the woman who identified herself as Paige Michele Jackson, 26, of Sunshine Drive, according to a criminal complaint.Police allege Jackson was trying to conceal 21 fentanyl packets in her purse.Jackson was arraigned by District Judge Ferris Webby in Luzerne County Central Court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.Inmate charged in attackNEWPORT TWP. &#8212; An inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Retreat was arraigned Tuesday on charges he assaulted another inmate in February.State police allege Maurice Hamilton, 20, was inside a day room when he assaulted inmate Michael Cook with a weapon Feb. 28. Hamilton tossed the weapon when corrections officers broke up the fight.Police said the weapon was 9 inches long and wrapped in cloth.Cook suffered a stab wound to his shoulder, police said.Hamilton was arraigned by District Judge Ferris Webby in Luzerne County Central Court on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. He was remanded to the state prison for lack of $25,000 bail.<style>
