He was arraigned on the charges Sept. 28.Police allege Hubbard severely assaulted a 46-year-old woman inside an apartment on South Main Street in Ashley on April 18.At a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court, Hubbard waived a single count of aggravated assault to county court. Shortly after that, he grabbed a nurse, threw her against a wall and onto a bed, and jumped on top of her Oct. 3, according to a criminal complaint.Police said the nurse had injuries to her wrists, left arm and chest.At a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court, prosecutors withdrew the aggravated assault charge.Jones will now face trial on two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and false imprisonment and a summary charge of harassment.Man accused in 120 mphchase waives his hearingWILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Hanover Township man who initiated a pursuit with Plymouth police waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court on Wednesday.Plymouth police allege Joseph Popovich, 33, of Garrahan Street, illegally passed a vehicle on West Main Street on Oct. 3. Popovich refused to stop and initiated a pursuit with speeds reaching 120 mph into Hanover Township, according to a criminal complaint.Popovich was arrested after he abandoned his vehicle near his residence. As Radginski left his father&#8217;s residence, he allegedly smashed out all windows of his father&#8217;s vehicle with a log-splitting ax.State police allege Radginski then crashed a vehicle in the area of state Routes 11 and 29.Radginski had a blood-alcohol level of .217 percent, nearly three times the .08 limit, troopers report.Radginski waived two counts each of DUI and criminal mischief and one count each of simple assault and harassment to county court.Prosecutors withdrew two traffic citations against him.<style>
