<p>Wyoming Valley West fell 45-7 against Delaware Valley on Friday night.</p><p>The Spartans got off to a rough start as Delaware Valley blocked a punt and capitalized on the short field to go up 7-0 with nine minutes and 13 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Things continued to go downhill for the Spartans as a punt on there next possession led to another touchdown for the Warriors.</p><p>Delaware Valley went into the second quarter up 14-0, but would strike twice more and add a field goal to enter halftime up 31-0.</p><p>The Warriors opened the second half with another touchdown to put the game out of reach.</p><p>However, Wyoming Valley West was able to break up the shutout when Jerimiah Williams was able to take the last Delaware Valley kickoff back for a score.</p><p><strong>Wallenpaupack 36, Williamsport 17</strong></p><p>The Millionaires fell to 5-4 on the season after losing to Wallenpaupack.</p><p>Williamsport started the game with a quick three-and-out and the Buckhorns took advantage of having the ball. Wallenpaupack ran the ball 11 straight times on its way to scoring the game&#8217;s first points. After missing the extra point, the Buckhorns went for two on their next score to go up 14-0.</p><p>The Millionaires finally starting moving the ball on Wallenpaupack, but was forced to settle for a field goal to cut the deficit to 14-3.</p><p>The Buckhorns offense was not going wait around to let Williamsport back into the game as it drove 71 yards for a score and converted on another two-point play to go up 22-3, which would stand going into halftime.</p><p>Wallenpaupack gave the Millionaires life on the opening kick of the second half as a fumble led to a Williamsport recovery. Williamsport didn&#8217;t waste anytime as Colin Esposito hauled in 16-yard touchdown reception, making it a 22-10 game.</p><p>The Buckhorns refused to let Williamsport gain momentum as they drove down the field and Nick Ruggieri rushed for his second touchdown of the game.</p><p>Williamsport, taking one more chance to get back into the game, pulled out a reverse pass to make it a 28-17 game, but Wallenpaupack would score once more, adding the two-point conversion, making it a 36-17 game, officially knocking the wind out of the Millionaires&#8217; sails.</p><style>
