Penn State football looking to solve skid on offense against Indiana

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A 31-year-old Wilkes-Barre man was shot in the leg outside a bar on the Sans Souci Parkway early Saturday morning, according to township police.</p><p>Officers said the victim was standing outside Brooklyn&#8217;s Sports Bar &amp; Lounge when another man shot him in the upper right thigh at about 5:15 a.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.</p><p>Police believe the gunshot wound is not life threatening.</p><p>They did not identify the victim in a press release.</p><p>Authorities described the gunman as a Hispanic male standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches. He was armed with what officers say was a small-caliber handgun.</p><p>The bar&#8217;s Facebook page says it held its grand opening last December and features reggae, hip-hop, R&amp;B, and Latin nights.</p><p>Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Hanover Township Police Department at 570-825-1254 or 911.</p><p>Hanover officers were assisted at the scene by state troopers. </p><style>
