<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Jarrett Burton is one of the longest-tenured Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, but his start to the season has been the most frustrating of his career.</p><p>Actually, it&#8217;s a start that Burton is still waiting to take place.</p><p>He&#8217;s been sidelined with an injury since training camp, and the 27-year-old forward is still waiting to get his fifth pro season underway.</p><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s ever an easy time for an injury, but it&#8217;s frustrating when you see everyone out there battling in camp and at the beginning of the season,&#8221; Burton said. &#8220;I&#8217;m excited to have the opportunity to come back pretty soon.&#8221;</p><p>Burton took a step in that direction on Tuesday when he practiced with the team for the first time this season. Also joining Burton among the others returning from injury were defensemen Kevin Czuczman and forward Anthony Angello.</p><p>Penguins coach Clark Donatelli said Angello could return to action this weekend, but Burton and Czuczman are still a week or two away.</p><p>Still, Burton was happy to begin working his way back to the lineup and build on his term as the second-longest tenured Penguin, dating back to 2015-16 when he played 23 games (Patrick McGrath played two games in 2014-15).</p><p>&#8220;This has been a great place to play. A great city,&#8221; Burton said, adding he wants to add more offense to his game this season.</p><p>&#8220;We had a lot of good teams over the years, and another good one coming together this year.&#8221;</p><p><strong>NOTES</strong></p><p>&#8226; The American Hockey League suspended defenseman Will O&#8217;Neill for one game on Tuesday. The suspension stems from Saturday&#8217;s game against Lehigh Valley when O&#8217;Neill was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22. He will miss Friday&#8217;s game against Hershey.</p><p>&#8226; The Penguins sent goaltender John Muse to Wheeling. Muse hasn&#8217;t been able to surpass Tristan Jarry or Anthony Peters on the depth chart and has yet to play a game this season.</p><p>&#8220;He&#8217;s got to get his own net and play in some games,&#8221; Donatelli said. &#8220;We don&#8217;t have that many games in the next few weeks. It&#8217;s just tough with three goalies.&#8221;</p><p>&#8226; Sam Miletic is one of only six rookies to be leading his team in points in the early going. He is also the first Penguin to record a multi-goal game this season with two tallies against the Phantoms on Saturday. Miletic has six points in as many games.</p><style>
