<p>Wilkes University Theatre celebrates musical legend Andrew Lloyd Webber with an evening of songs and dance in its production of &#8220;The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.&#8221;</p><p>The performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Nov. 15, 16, and 17 with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18 at Wilkes&#8217; Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts, 239 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Webber, the Oscar-, Grammy- and Tony-award-winning composer of some of the world&#8217;s best-known musicals will turn 70 in March, yet seems unstoppable. Last year, he had four shows running simultaneously on Broadway. In this production, standards from &#8220;Phantom of the Opera,&#8221; &#8220;Cats,&#8221; &#8220;Evita,&#8221; &#8220;Jesus Christ Superstar,&#8221; &#8220;Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,&#8221; &#8220;Sunset Boulevard&#8221; and more will honor his works.</p><p>The production is directed by Wilkes University Theatre&#8217;s Teresa Fallon, director of theatre, with musical direction by Ken McGraw, adjunct faculty member, and choreography by faculty of practice in dance, Lynne Mariani. The student cast includes Melissa Berardelli, Katelyn Sincavage, Michaela Catapano, Kayleigh Evans, Marcy Ledvinka, Brianna Rowland, Justin Gaskill, Sarah Hoffman, Alex Booth, Kris Tjornhom and Joshua Shepard.</p><p>General admission is $10, $5 for students and seniors and free for all Wilkes students, faculty and staff with ID.
