WB police officer slashed with knife

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A man arrived at a local hospital for a gunshot wound about 30 minutes after township police received reports of gunfire at the Marion Terrace apartment complex Wednesday night.</p><p>Police Chief Al Walker said the shooting took place at about 7:30 p.m. when three to five shots were fired outside an apartment.</p><p>About 30 minutes after the shooting, a 26-year-old man from Hanover Township showed up at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre for a gunshot wound to his foot.</p><p>Walker said the man&#8217;s injuries are not life-threatening.</p><p>The gunman was described as a light-skinned black male.</p><p>Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Hanover Township police at 570-825-1251.</p><style>
