D2-2A Girls Soccer Championship: Wyoming Area makes history with 1-0 victory over Lake-Lehman

The Division 1 and Division 2 coaches boys soccer all-star teams were officially selected and Crestwood and Meyers came out as the big winners.For Division 1, Crestwood led the way with five players, Hubert Herrera, Sean Murphy, Payton Glynn, Mike Ceklosky and Max Gariano, receiving first team honors and four being named to the second team, totalling nine players being named.Dallas was right behind them with the way with four members, Kyle Greenwood, Beaudyn Lewis, Zach Holthaus and Ryan Fisher, being awarded first team honors an two being named to the second team.Wyoming Valley West followed with three being named to both the first and second team.Coughlin had two players named to both first and second team and both Berwick and Pittston Area had one named to the first team and two awarded second team honors.Nanticoke Area had one player make both the first and second team and Tunkhannock had one player named to the first team.For the Division 2 all-stars, Meyers had the most players receive honors with seven. Three players, Tanner Nilon, Michael Krasnavage and Joel Vasquez, were awarded first team honors and four players receiving second team honors.Lake-Lehman and Wyoming Area were right behind them both with six players being named to the teams. Both sides had four get named to the first team, Mike Bulzoni, Max Paczewiski, Justin Timonte and Nate Salus for Lake-Lehman and Damien Bronsburg, Nick Bellas, Luke Coolbaugh and Brett Kostick for Wyoming Area. They both also had two players placed on the second team. Wyoming Seminary also had six players picked by the coaches to receive all star honors.Wyoming Seminary had three players named to both the first and second team.
