<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Our long nightmare is over.</p><p>Motorists and business owners will be pleased to know that North River Street has reopened to traffic following <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/720903/river-street-road-project-has-caused-headaches-for-drivers-business-owners" target="_blank">months of detours due to a sewer replacement project by the Wyoming Valley Sanitary </a><a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/720903/river-street-road-project-has-caused-headaches-for-drivers-business-owners" target="_blank">Authority</a>.</p><p>The road had been closed between Maple Street and Courtright Avenue since mid-August.</p><p>It reopened Thursday.</p><style>
