<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; An autopsy on the body of an 18-year-old man from Laurel Run revealed he died from a single gunshot wound, Luzerne County Coroner William Lisman said Monday.</p><p>Wilkes-Barre police said Jacob T. Shedlock was found with a gunshot wound at 768 N. Pennsylvania Ave. just before 11 p.m. Friday. Shedlock was transported to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.</p><p>Lisman said the autopsy performed by forensic pathologist Dr. Gary Ross determined Shedlock died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Lisman ruled the manner of Shedlock&#8217;s death a homicide.</p><p>No charges have been filed, and the case remained under investigation Monday.</p><p>Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Wilkes-Barre Detective Division and speak with Det. Thomas Harding at 570-208-0911.</p><p><strong>Fifth city homicide</strong></p><p>Friday&#8217;s deadly shooting is the city&#8217;s fifth homicide this year.</p><p>Sept. 14: Fred Boote was found dead inside his Donald Court home from multiple stab wounds. Reynaldo Mercado, 31, and Louisa A. Reyes, 14, have been charged with Boote&#8217;s death.</p><p>July 19: Collin Jones, 27, died from a gunshot wound to the head he suffered as he drove away from the area of Ali Baba Lounge, South Main Street. Jones crashed his vehicle into a utility pole at South Main and South streets. No charges have been filed.</p><p>July 4: Devon Clive Stevens, 32, died from multiple gunshot wounds he suffered in the Sherman Hills Apartment Complex. No charges have been filed.</p><p>Feb. 7: Trevor Oliver, 41, died in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital on Feb. 12, where he was admitted for multiple gunshot wounds he suffered inside his Hutson Street residence days earlier. Oliver&#8217;s girlfriend, Vanessa Batista, survived gunshot wounds. Robert Rodriguez, 23, and Isiaah Tyrone Jennings, 20, have been charged in Oliver&#8217;s death.</p><style>
