Attorney: Triple-fatal fire suspect’s statements should be thrown out

Dallas High School students named to first-quarter Honor Roll

<p>The Luzerne County Community College Foundation, Inc. recently received a donation to establish the Jeff Banko Memorial Scholarship.</p><p>The donation was made by The Friends of Jeff Banko who raised the funds through a memorial golf tournament to honor Jeff Bankovich who donated to many non-profits and opened his restaurant on holidays to serve free meals to those without families. Bankovich owned and operated J.J. Banko&#8217;s Seafood Restaurant in Nanticoke for many years.</p><p>The Jeff Banko Memorial Scholarship will support an LCCC student enrolled in the hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts program at the College&#8217;s Joseph A. Paglianite Culinary Institute.
