King’s College graduate students present capstone projects

<p>Five Northwest Area teachers were recently awarded educational grants by Gary Bau, president of the Ranger Foundation. The grants were awarded at the Dec. 5 meeting of the Northwest Area School Board in the following amounts: Mrs. Socha, $350 for choir robes; Mrs. Kunec, $250 for Math Bowl; Mrs. Antolik, $1459 for Science/Reading as part of Camp Read-A-Lot; Miss Stair, $250 for classroom upgrades&#8212;furniture and accessories for students with disabilities; Mrs. Papadoplos, $855 for the entire Intermediate School to attend the Freedom Train production at the Kirby Center.
