<p>JENKINS TOWNSHIP &#8212; How can you make 80 years seem to melt away, like Frosty the Snow Man in a sunny greenhouse?</p><p>Just sing some traditional Christmas carols for people like 90-year-old Donald Collins &#8212; and he&#8217;ll feel as if he&#8217;s zipped through time, past his years as a contractor, past his stint in the U.S. Marine Corps, all the way back to his one-room schoolhouse in the Red Ash section of Dupont.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s wonderful,&#8221; Collins said Monday morning, shortly after fourth- and fifth-grade students from Wyoming Area Elementary Catholic School had presented their annual gift of music to residents at Wesley Village assisted living facility.</p><p>Another resident, Claire Jurchak, said the singing reminded her of caroling she did as a girl in Wilkes-Barre, walking up and down the wintry streets, singing with her friends.</p><p>&#8220;I like them all,&#8221; she said of the songs, declining to choose a favorite.</p><p>But some of Monday morning&#8217;s carolers were not shy about expressing a preference.</p><p>Eleven-year-old Jenna McCarroll said she likes &#8220;Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer&#8221; and her friend Tessa Cegelka, also 11, voted for &#8220;Frosty the Snow Man&#8221; as the girls sat munching cookies after their performance.</p><p>Lots of other songs had been on the program, as well, including &#8220;O Come All Ye Faithful,&#8221; &#8220;We Three Kings,&#8221; and &#8220;Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas.&#8221;</p><p>The students performed under the direction of their music teacher, Jackson Fiore, accompanied by homeroom teachers Josie Toomey and James Renfer. Several young musicians had a turn at the piano, and Robert Stanchak contributed &#8220;Angels We Have Heard on High&#8221; on the guitar.</p><p>The students also distributed hand-made cards and decorations to the residents.</p><style>
