<p>EDWARDSVILLE &#8212; Borough police say they arrested a man who went on a drunken rage, assaulting a woman and her 10-year-old daughter late Tuesday into early Wednesday.</p><p>Javon James Isaac, 23, appeared shirtless and wearing boxer shorts with rubber duckies for his arraignment in Luzerne County Central Court.</p><p>Police allege Isaac smelled of alcohol when he was arrested outside his West Grove Street residence just after 1 a.m.</p><p>According to the criminal complaint:</p><p>Police responded to a domestic disturbance on West Grove Street where they spoke with Breana Pennington.</p><p>Pennington claimed she was in bed with her 10-year-old daughter watching a movie at about 11 p.m. Tuesday when Isaac entered.</p><p>She claimed Isaac told her, &#8220;Get your a&#8212; downstairs.&#8221; When she refused, Pennington told police Isaac grabbed her by the hair and dragged her downstairs.</p><p>Pennington claimed Isaac choked her and bent her fingernails back, causing her fingers to bleed.</p><p>As Pennington and the child attempted to run out of the house, Isaac grabbed them both and threw them to the floor. Pennington struck her head and the child&#8217;s finger got jammed in a door.</p><p>Isaac reportedly told Pennington &#8220;She is his (expletive) and she is not going anywhere.&#8221;</p><p>Pennington claimed Isaac then picked her up, choked her a second time, threatened to kill her and kicked her in the torso. Pennington ran out of the house and sought help at a neighbor&#8217;s home.</p><p>The neighbor removed the child from Isaac&#8217;s residence.</p><p>Isaac was charged with strangulation, simple assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment.</p><p>He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $3,000 bail.</p><style>
