Veterans earn medals in creative arts competition

Students present New Year recital at Darte Center

<p>A group of friends are planning a read-a-thon in order to raise money for a missionary. The group GLOW (Girls Loving On the World) was started by Juliet to do good for others.</p><p>They held a similar fundraiser last year and raised $600 and hope to do better than that this time.</p><p>The girls will track how many minutes/books they read for two weeks starting the beginning of February. They are collecting donations through February and will send the donation to a missionary friend who has been working overseas for a few years.</p><p>Donations for this read-a-thon can be sent to Sweet Valley Church of Christ indicate they are for the read-a-thon fundraiser.</p><style>
