<p>Two townships recently reorganized their leadership posts for 2019, and one of them will be saying goodbye to a longtime employee.</p><p>&#8226; In Dorrance Township, zoning and codes officer Alan Snelson announced he would be retiring after at least a decade in the role.</p><p>Meanwhile, supervisors Gary Zane, William Wengrzynek and Kevin Gallagher voted unanimously to retain the Strategic Municipal Group of Wilkes-Barre to handle Snelson&#8217;s duties.</p><p>Strategic Municipal was one of three engineering/zoning firms interviewed by supervisors in October.</p><p>Otherwise, the township organization remains the same: Zane is chairman of the board and Wengrzynek is vice chairman.</p><p>The next public meeting of the supervisors is Monday, Feb. 11.</p><p>&#8226; In Butler Township, there was one change in leadership on the board of supervisors.</p><p>Dr. Frank Polidora was elected secretary-treasurer after serving as vice chairman in 2018.</p><p>Brian Kisenwether remained as chairman and Charles Altmiller became vice chairman. Altmiller also serves as the township&#8217;s roadmaster.</p><style>
