Shawn Christy denied new detention hearing

<p>WEST HAZLETON &#8212; Days after a fire ripped through a borough home, police say they are still searching for a man who lived at the double-block residence.</p><p>Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the roaring blaze where a firefighter reportedly suffered second-degree burns to his ears.</p><p>&#8220;The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the West Hazleton Police Department and the PSP fire marshal,&#8221; said Kyle Kaschak, assistant fire chief at the West Hazleton Fire Department.</p><p>According to a post on the West Hazleton Police Department&#8217;s Facebook page:</p><p>Police are trying to locate Grant Yamulla, 30, who is believed to be a former tenant at an apartment at 103 E. Green St.</p><p>Yamulla has not been seen since the fire Saturday night. Authorities said family members have been unable to locate or make contact with Yamulla.</p><p>Due to the compromised structural integrity of the home, crews have been unable to safely enter or search the building for Yamulla.</p><p>Police encourage anyone who has either seen or heard from Yamulla or know his whereabouts to call the West Hazleton Police Department at 570-455-3733 so they can confirm his safety, well-being and reunite him with family members.</p><p>Authorities also ask anyone who has pictures or video of the early stages of the fire to contact the department so investigators can review them. </p><style>
