Police: Man had meth,LSD at Mohegan SunPLAINS TWP. &#8212; A man from New York was arrested on charges he possessed methamphetamine and LSD at the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino Wednesday.The State Police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement says Thomas Andrew Glovich, 33, of Windsor, had a bag containing a white substance and two pills in his pocket when he was stopped by casino security from entering the gaming floor at about 2 p.m. Glovich produced an identification card that belonged to a friend, according to court records.Police allege the white substance tested positive for meth and the two pills were positive for LSD.Glovich was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Richard Cronauer in Luzerne County Central Court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.Door damagedWILKES-BARRE &#8212; A 35-year-old woman reported Wednesday to city police an unknown person damaged a door at her residence on Carey Avenue.Money stolen from vehicleHANOVER TWP. &#8212; An employee at Chewy, New Commerce Boulevard, reported to township police Thursday that money was stolen from her vehicle. She told police she started her vehicle to warm it up and returned to the building. When she returned to her vehicle, she noticed money was missing. The theft occurred between 5 a.m. and 5:20 a.m.Woman accused ofresisting arrest in WBWILKES-BARRE &#8212; Deidre Barber, age and address unknown, was charged with resisting arrest after she allegedly refused officers&#8217; commands to stop reaching for a firearm inside her vehicle during a traffic stop Wednesday.Police said they investigated a complaint that involved Barber following another person after a court hearing. Barber was stopped on South Pennsylvania Avenue near Holy Redeemer High School at about 10:20 a.m., police said.Police said Barber became irate with officers. She was instructed to exit her vehicle as her driver&#8217;s license was suspended and her vehicle was going to be towed from the scene, authorities report.Barber gathered items from the vehicle and said she had a weapon in the glove box.Police said Barber attempted to open the glove box and was instructed not to touch the weapon.Barber had to be physically removed from the vehicle, officers say.She now faces charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license.<style>
