First Posted: 12/1/2012 Joanne Krasnahill, 61, of Wapwallopen, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Hospice Community Care at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
 She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 30, 1951, a daughter of Elsie Sigo Krasnahill of Wapwallopen and the late Joseph M. Krasnahill. Joanne was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School and she was employed by the Social Security Administration. She was a member of St. Mary's of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Dorrance Township. She was also a member of the Tiger's Den Dart and Softball League in Nanticoke.
 Surviving, in addition to her mother, is her brother, Joseph F. Krasnahill, Wapwallopen.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 3529 St. Mary's Road, Dorrance Township. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
