Clampdown on opioids is hurting pain patients

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Wayne County man who claims to be a member of a motorcycle gang told city police someone placed the barrel of a shotgun inside his mouth Monday.</p><p>Robert E. Fulmer, 51, of Hawley, told that story to police after he was arrested for allegedly forcing his way inside a residence on North Fulton Street and threatening several people. </p><p>He reportedly told them: &#8220;I&#8217;m a (expletive) Pagan I will kill you and everyone in that house.&#8221;</p><p>Amid the chaos that ensued, Fulmer claimed he was attacked and a shotgun placed in his mouth.</p><p>According to a criminal complaint:</p><p>Police responded to 105 N. Fulton St. for a report that several people had a man on the floor with guns aimed at his head at about 11 a.m. When officers arrived, Fulmer was detained when he was found sitting in a vehicle.</p><p>Tiffany Ankadovich told police Fulmer forced his way inside her residence looking for Alyssa Smith.</p><p>Fulmer held a bat and threatened to kill everyone in the house, saying he was a Pagan.</p><p>Officers found Smith running into a residence on Amber Lane.</p><p>Smith told police she was staying with Fulmer but wanted to move with her father to Florida. She claimed Fulmer became confrontational with Ankadovich because her boyfriend is in a rival gang known as OTF.</p><p>Smith claimed she was in fear for her life when Fulmer retrieved a bat. She lost her shoes running and ran into a store for help but was kicked out for having no shoes on her feet.</p><p>Fulmer, meanwhile, told police several men in the house attacked him, and one of them put a shotgun in his mouth.</p><p>Fulmer was arraigned by District Judge David Barilla in Forty Fort on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, criminal trespass and harassment. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.</p><style>
