Hazleton police respond to threat at school; AG touts role of new tip line

<p>NANTICOKE &#8212; City police Thursday released a picture of a GMC U-Haul pickup truck they say was seen leaving the scene of a hit-and-run that injured a 72-year-old man on South Market Street earlier this week.</p><p>Police are searching for the operator of the GMC.</p><p>Harold Rinehimer was struck by a vehicle as he crossed South Market Street near East Broad Street at about 10:24 p.m. Sunday, police said.</p><p>Rinehimer suffered serious injuries and was transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.</p><p>Police initially reported they were looking for an orange-colored sport utility vehicle with roof racks but have since ruled out that type of vehicle.</p><p>Anyone with information about the driver of the GMC is asked to call Nanticoke Police at 570-735-2200 or 911.</p><style>

Nanticoke Police release picture of truck suspected in hit-and-run
