Desperation, not panic drives WBS Pens in playoff push

<p><strong>Assault charges withdrawn </strong></p><p><strong>against self-proclaimed &#8216;Pagan&#8217;</strong></p><p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police withdrew charges against a Wayne County man who they alleged forced his way inside a residence on North Fulton Street and threatened several people Jan. 21.</p><p>Police charged Robert E. Fulmer, 51, of Hawley, after investigating a dispute at 111 N. Fulton St.</p><p>Fulmer allegedly forced his way inside, warning residents: &#8220;I&#8217;m a (expletive) Pagan I will kill you and everyone in that house.&#8221;</p><p>The Pagans are a motorcycle gang.</p><p>Fulmer claimed several men in the house attacked him, and one of them put a shotgun in his mouth.</p><p>Charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass were withdrawn against Fulmer at a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court on Thursday.</p><p><strong>Domestic charges dismissed </strong></p><p><strong>against Wilkes-Barre man</strong></p><p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A district judge Thursday dismissed domestic assault charges against Tyon Kentrell Thomas, 24, of Conyngham Avenue, at a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court.</p><p>City police charged Thomas after his girlfriend, Alsyla Lombardo, claimed he struck her head and choked her at their residence Nov. 7, according to court records.</p><p>Charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and strangulation were dismissed.</p><style>
