<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Wilkes-Barre man is facing several charges after allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach and placing a loaded handgun to her head Friday night.</p><p>Savante D. Hopkins, 30, was arrested at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre after officers responded to a report about a pregnant 28-year-old woman who had been assaulted by her boyfriend, authorities say.</p><p>The woman said Hopkins punched her in the face, causing her lips to bleed.</p><p>He then punched her in the stomach and put the loaded gun to her head as he threatened to kill her, police allege.</p><p>Hopkins is now facing charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.</p><p>He was locked up for lack of $20,000 cash bail after being arraigned Saturday morning by District Judge Michael G. Dotzel, court records show.</p><p>Hopkins&#8217; preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12 in front of Dotzel.</p><style>
