<p>It is too easy to dismiss those that disagree with President Donald Trump as socialist haters. Just as it would be too easy to categorize those that agree with our president as deplorable.</p><p>I don&#8217;t hate my president. I disagree with his policies and I question his integrity. I do not believe that if he builds a wall, crime will fall. The facts are that most drugs enter our country hidden away in secret compartments and packages in trucks and planes, and not in the cavities of human beings fleeing the terror of their homelands. Terrorists are not walking up through South America and Mexico. They are entering our country through airports.</p><p>Of course we need effective border security. I know of no one who says we don&#8217;t.</p><p>I don&#8217;t agree with a president who leaves the Paris Climate Accord, rather than make it better. I don&#8217;t agree with any man who tries to explain to me that there are in fact some good Nazis mixed in with the bad ones.</p><p>I can not seem to square my values with those of my president. He is in his third marriage, cheated on his former wife, sleeps with porn stars and has bragged about grabbing women by their genitals. He calls people funny names, makes fun of their appearances and intelligence; all this while undermining his wife who is trying to combat bullying.</p><p>I don&#8217;t hate our president. I just don&#8217;t agree with him. I made no bargain with him that said &#8220;stack my courts with conservative judges, give me and my company a big tax break, take away the environmental regulations that stifle my industry and you can do and be whatever you want.&#8221;</p><p>Nope, I never made that deal.</p><p>Alec Frank</p><p>Wilkes-Barre, PA</p><style>
