Marchetti receives 35 to 80 years in murder, assault

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Luzerne County Council&#8217;s Tuesday night meeting has been postponed until Feb. 19 due to the weather.</p><p>Council Chairman Tim McGinley said he made the decision because numerous weather projections indicate sleet and freezing rain will continue into the evening.</p><p>McGinley also said there are no deadline matters on the agenda.</p><p>The meeting will start at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 at the county courthouse on River Street in Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>At that gathering, council is set to select a Democrat to fill a council seat vacated by Edward Brominski. County Manager C. David Pedri also will present a &#8220;state of the county&#8221; report required by the home rule charter.</p><style>
