Wyoming Seminary Lower School plans Open House for March 24

MMI Preparatory School magazine receives superior rating

<p>The Luzerne County Community College History/Social Sciences department recently hosted a program at the college&#8217;s Educational Conference Center.</p><p>Keynote speaker was Mary Mahoney-Ferster, educational consultant for The Arc of PA, Include Me Early Care and Education Program. The keynote presentation was followed by a screening of the film &#8220;Intelligent Lives.&#8221; The film, by award-winning filmmaker Dan Habib, stars three pioneering young American adults with intellectual disabilities who challenge perceptions of intelligence as they navigate high school, college, and the workforce. A panel discussion also was held.</p><p>The program was sponsored by the LCCC Human Services Club, Reaching Beyond Limits, the LCCC Educators of Tomorrow Club, and the Wyoming County Special Needs Association.</p><style>
